Recently, Lumy has been redesigned from the ground up, not just to look better, but to feel more personal, purposeful, and in sync with how we live.

Introducing Modes: a new way to shape Lumy around your daily routine. Whether we’re planning our weekday schedule, chasing golden hour on the weekend, or aligning our mindfulness practice with the sun, Modes help Lumy show only what matters to us.
New Design: The whole idea was based on making Lumy as a “Window to our outside world”. Tried to make the UI feel gently illuminated by the world outside, creating a sense of connection even when we're indoors. Now every view carries a subtle visual echo of light seeping through a pane of glass window.
Season Info: Lumy now shows both astronomical and meteorological seasons. So we’ll know exactly when summer ends, spring begins, or the next equinox or solstice is approaching.
Reflect & Share: Whether it’s sun rise in a new city or golden hour on your balcony, Lumy’s new sharing feature lets you save or share the moment with your own reflection or a short phrase like “Peaceful Evening”, “Chasing Light” or “First light in Tokyo”. It’s useful for journaling, sharing on social media, or keeping as a memory.
Key Interactions and Visuals Enhancements:
- A more immersive atmosphere that simulate natural light.
- For users who prefer simpler visuals, enhanced the existing classic visuals with shimmering rays and soft glitters.
- A new time travel slider that snaps to sun events with haptic feedback.

Introducing Modes: a new way to shape Lumy around your daily routine. Whether we’re planning our weekday schedule, chasing golden hour on the weekend, or aligning our mindfulness practice with the sun, Modes help Lumy show only what matters to us.
New Design: The whole idea was based on making Lumy as a “Window to our outside world”. Tried to make the UI feel gently illuminated by the world outside, creating a sense of connection even when we're indoors. Now every view carries a subtle visual echo of light seeping through a pane of glass window.
Season Info: Lumy now shows both astronomical and meteorological seasons. So we’ll know exactly when summer ends, spring begins, or the next equinox or solstice is approaching.
Reflect & Share: Whether it’s sun rise in a new city or golden hour on your balcony, Lumy’s new sharing feature lets you save or share the moment with your own reflection or a short phrase like “Peaceful Evening”, “Chasing Light” or “First light in Tokyo”. It’s useful for journaling, sharing on social media, or keeping as a memory.
