Comments
Introducing the new Comment tool, your personal 3D highlighter for communicating with precision! Just activate the Comment tool from the toolbar, context menu, or Collaboration Bar, then tap your model where you want to place your thought. The Comments Panel instantly opens when leaving a comment, letting you review threads, add replies, and hide comment markers for a clean viewport. Real Time Viewing and Camera Controls
By default, your viewers see your model updates as they happen—like a screen share, but with way more precision. Changes you make will appear for everyone, and viewers can even see the tool you are using to make changes if cursors are visible. Tools that viewers are using, like the Tape Measure, Pan, or Rotate, are also visible to everyone.
Once all your stakeholders are in a model together, you’ll probably want a way to reliably guide them around, right? Just tap your avatar in the Collaboration Bar and everyone’s view will sync to yours—instant design presentation mode! Conversely, want to follow another viewer? Tap their avatar and enjoy the ride! • Fixed an issue where the extra settings in the Create Component dialog were playing hide-and-seek. They're back!

Here's what's new in SketchUp for iPad v7.3.0 (2208)
Introducing AI Render
SketchUp Diffusion is now AI Render, and is more powerful than ever! It features new inpainting tools, additional style presets, and a completely redesigned user interface. These changes continue to expand and enhance SketchUp's AI capabilities.GO subscriptions now come with dedicated monthly AI credits. Credits refill monthly, and you can monitor your usage via the credit balance menu in the upper-right while using AI Render.
File save improvements
We've made significant updates to how you save your files! A new navigation menu is now located on the left side of the home bar, gathering both new and existing options. While the save button remains easily accessible on the home menu bar, saving a file now gives you the option to select a save location and assign a name.
• Tap the file name to rename your file
• Tap the Save as button to save a copy of your file
• Tap home in the menu to return to the home page, as always
• Find Import and Export file options now under this menu
• App settings are also now under this menu
Model and Visualization Improvements
Ambient Occlusion face setting received two major improvements
• The Distance Multiplier slider when using AO on tiny or really large models.
• A color swatch control allows you to pick custom color for your shading.
Invert Roughness gets a similar setting to invert normal. Inverting roughness provides better control how smooth or rough you want a surface to be.
Scale grips now display through other geometry, so that you can always see and click them.
Rotation grips no longer appear when you’ve locked a rotation plane.
Scene Undo and Redo
You can now undo or redo scene updates. Undo and Redo work just like they do when editing other parts of your model and will also respect creating, renaming, and deleting actions.

Here's what's new in v7.2.1
This update includes minor improvements to Diffusion and bug fixes.
Improvements
• Users can now clear locally cached Trimble Connect files from their device, similar to iCloud's "remove download" option. The new “remove offline version” option is accessible via the overflow menu for Trimble Connect files in your recent files list.
• Enlarged the tap area for the measurement box to include the entire box, allowing you to more easily tap into measurements.
• Updated the Diffusion user survey to open an in-app window instead of a browser window
Bug fixes
• Fixed an issue where the measurements panel extended beyond the display when docked at the bottom of the screen
• Fixed a crash that occurred when downloading 3D Warehouse models and then exiting the app before saving.
• Fixed an issue where the rename command was absent from the overflow menu for files in the Trimble Connect Tab
• Fixed a bug that caused a user with a newly created TID to not be able to see the upgrade screen

Hey SketchUp fans! This release is packed with an exciting update to SketchUp Diffusion. Check out the new full screen UI and new image editing features we've added. We can't wait to hear what you think!
New UI
• Full-screen mode: Tap the Diffusion button and watch it go full-screen. No more refreshing—what you see is what you use to generate. Diffusion results now also show up full-screen in your viewport automatically and can be selected or deselected in the new Gallery panel.
• Navigation: Freely navigate your model and adjust styles while in diffusion mode. Generated jobs now also remember where they were created, so rest assured that you can always return to a job’s camera location just by tapping it from the gallery.
• Bottom toolbar: Jump right into prompting and generating with the new bottom toolbar and a new Autoprompt preset that will generate a detailed prompt for you. 1-click generation has never been easier! Take your images further with our new set of paint, erase, and sketch tools.
Prompt Tool
The original prompt tool is still here, with advanced settings now found by tapping the settings button next to the prompt button and preset selection from the top of the settings window. You can find advanced settings under the dropdown, settings like Prompt Influence, Respect Model Geometry, and Negative Prompt.
• Style Transfer: This exciting new setting can be found in the advanced settings of the “No Style” preset and lets you pick your own image as a style reference for the generated images. Want your Diffusion results to look like your hand-drawn sketches? Load a scan of your sketches as a reference and see the magic happen!
Image Tools
New in this release are a set of image editing tools you can use to refine your diffusion results and achieve your creative vision.
• Paint Tool: Paint to select an area, type a prompt describing what you want added to the selected area. Perfect for refining large spaces and objects in your image.
• Erase Tool: Use the brush or lasso selection mode to select objects that you want removed from your images. Diffusion will remove and blend the result with the background.
• Sketch Tool: Use a sketch to define what you want added, combine it with a descriptive prompt and see your results added to the image. Best for adding uniquely shaped objects that you want artistic control of.
Other bottom bar tools
• Image Opacity Control: Easily check your work or create interesting hybrid views with the new image opacity control.
• Share and Save: Share or save your creations with just a tap using the scene creation or share button in the bottom toolbar.
Gallery Panel
• View and rate results: The new Gallery panel on the right side of your screen lets you view and load your Diffusion results from the past 30 days. Tap the 3 dot menu on an image to Like or Dislike.
• Resizable Thumbnail Previews: Zoom in or out to see larger or smaller thumbnails of your results.
• Select and load past jobs: Tap an image to load it full-screen (this also returns the camera to that job’s location), tap again to unload, double tap to see the job data. Tap an image’s 3 dot menu and select Restore Camera to navigate back to that image’s location without loading the image onscreen.

Here’s what’s new in SketchUp for iPad v7.1.0 (2186)
Add Location improved - Bring your designs to life with enhanced Geo-location and Terrain Data Import on SketchUp for iPad!
Preview your model in the add location window, toggle a location pin for precise placement, and use the True North offset for accurate sun/shadow studies. Import larger terrain areas with improved data quality, and now include 3D buildings! Users can control building details like position relative to the terrain and building foundations.

Trimble Connect boosted - File syncing is improved!
New sync icons show if a file is available locally (cloud), needs download (cloud with down arrow), has changes to upload (cloud with up arrow), or is always available offline (filled cloud with checkmark). You can now also delete projects and folders directly in the Trimble Connect tab (you must be owner, and the project or folder must be empty).
Please note, the recent files list and Trimble Connect files may take a moment longer than usual to load when you first open the app after this update. This is a one time event.
Scan-to-Design named scans
Name your scans and the name will be reflected in both the Outliner and Tag groups of your model, helping you stay organized when scanning multiple spaces.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed a bug that prevented a guide from being created when double tapping a point or edge with the Tape Measure tool
• Fixed a bug that prevented editing of the default face colors from the Default material chip in the materials panel. Now when you tap to edit the default material chip you’ll be taken to Face settings where you can change the front and back face colors. Default face colors are now automatically reflected in the default material chip.
• Fixed a bug that caused the app to crash when using markup mode
• Fixed a bug that prevented users from changing the color of a pen in markup mode
• Fixed a bug that caused parts of a model to disappear when the viewing angle is adjusted
• Fixed a bug that caused the shortcut bar to become unresponsive to docking areas
• Fixed a bug that caused the text of dimension strings to be replaced with black boxes when a scene is created
• Fixed a bug that caused a crash when a file with units set to “Engineering” was opened. We’ve also added an engineering units option to the model info panel.

Performance and Stability fixes
• Resolved a bug causing the app to slow or freeze when the shortcut bar was visible on screen.
• Resolved a bug that would occasionally cause the app to close when editing a material
• Addressed an issue where finger presses left a grey selection ring behind on the screen.
• Resolved a bug where toggling the classic graphics engine in the About tab caused user account information to disappear.

Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account on confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before your subscription expiration date.
