We have been working hard to listen to you better—literally. Here is what changed:
Pronunciation 2.0: We gave our pronunciation engine a serious upgrade. It is now much faster, strictly accurate, and gives detailed feedback on exactly which sound you missed. It is like having a private tutor who never gets tired of listening to you say "Scheveningen."
Polite Notifications: In-app notifications used to pop up in the middle of everything. We taught them some manners. Now they appear discreetly at the top, so they won't ruin your focus (or your streak).
Decluttering: Finished lessons now neatly fold away. No need to scroll past ancient history to find your new lesson. Your path to fluency is now clear.
Fresh Look: Daily Tasks got a redesign. They look better, so maybe you will want to do them more? (We hope).
Bug Spray:
Fixed the "Word Order" questions looking weird in Weak Spots. The puzzle pieces fit now.
Oiled the hinges on the Login/Logout door. No more getting stuck while trying to switch accounts.

New Exercise: Word Order: We added a brand new question type to lessons. You are given a jumbled mess of words, and you have to drag them into the correct order to make a proper sentence. It is like a puzzle, but instead of a picture of a cat, you get a grammatically correct Dutch sentence. Finally, master the chaos of Dutch sentence structure.
Letting Go of the Past: We fixed the issues with deleting items from your "Weak Spots" list. If you have mastered a mistake, you can now truly delete it and move on.
Need for Speed: We optimized the Home and Profile pages. They now load faster than a Dutch cyclist catching a green light.

We tweaked a few things to make your learning experience smoother than a well-paved Dutch cycle path.
Dive Right In: The "Weak Spots" practice now starts immediately. No more staring at a list of your past failures before you begin. If you really want to see your mistake history (to humble yourself), we moved that list to a shiny new page on your Profile.
Stop Hiding: The Daily Goals display was being a bit shy for some users. We gave it a pep talk, and now it shows up reliably every time.
Fancy Listening: We improved the pronunciation practice. We listen better, and the animation while we judge your accent is now much fancier. If you are going to mispronounce "Scheveningen," do it with style.
The Waffle Heist is Solved: Fixed a bug where spent Stroopwafels were not updating on your profile immediately. We promise we weren't stealing them; it was just a caching error.

Silence is Golden: Don't want the app shouting the correct answer at you while you are on the quiet carriage of the train? You can now turn off the auto-play audio for correct answers in Settings.
No More Guilt Trips: New users were seeing "Missed" red marks for the days before they even installed the app. That wasn't fair. We fixed it. Your streak starts when YOU start.
The "Oops" Button: We fixed the bugs in the "Reset Progress" feature. Now, if you want to start over, it actually works.
Badge of Honor: The Achievement system is shiny and new. Earn badges as you progress, so you have something to brag about.

We did some cleaning and fixing to make your experience as smooth as a fresh jar of peanut butter. Here is the news:
The Map & List Wedding: Just like a tiny Amsterdam studio apartment, we had to be smart with space. We combined the map and list views and added foldable categories. Now everything is organized and user-friendly.
Identity Crisis Fixed: Our app sometimes forgot which language it was supposed to speak. We fixed the bug where questions appeared in English while the app was set to Turkish. No more unwanted surprises!
Small Screen Justice: If you have a smaller phone, we haven’t forgotten you. We fixed the visual issues so you don’t need a magnifying glass to study anymore.
