1. add virtual joystick, once switch to virtual joystick ( by long press the game item on the home list), the game control on the screen will be changed to joystick when you play the game
2. optimized the game import speed, will be almost 10x faster than previous version
3. fixes some known issues
Notice: only when you find the game could not be played, such as "black screen", you could try to play the game with "desktop mode" or "low resolution", or else, you just do not need to switch to these modes, it may or may not break the game if you force to use those modes when the game was already ok to play.
The operation could not be revoked when you switch to joystick, desktop mode, low resolution, so we suggest that you could import the game twice or more, just check which mode you would like to go, then delete others before you start to play the game deeply.
Always be aware of that to get the game progress saved into disk, you need to save the game progress from game part firstly, then press "...", press "Exit The Game", then the game progress will be saved into disk.

RPG maker MV is game framework, so one is ok, another is ok too, as both of them are made with the same tool.
Maybe you have encountered such situation:
When you downloaded a wonderful Visual Novel game from website, you do not want to play it on your windows pc, while you want to play it on your iPhone or iPad.
If the visual novel game is made with RPG Maker MV, you are good to go with this app then.
RPGEmu gives your a new chance to play those windows games which made by RPG Maker MV tool on your iPhone or iPad.
Though RPGEmu itself does not supply any games, it is not very hard to get "RPG Maker MV Games".
I have tried it by myself, just search google, it is really too easy to get many visual novel games which made with "RPG Maker MV".
If you could play those games on your windows pc, it should be ok to play them on your iPhone or iPad.
I noted such kind of visual novel games do heavily depends on keyboard, so I made a virtual keyboard.
Notes: when you see "Press Z to start", you could press "Enter" to start also.
RPGEmu also supports RPG Maker MZ game.
The game was made with RPG Maker MV tool, we call it RPG Maker MV game, or [MV Game].

Once you installed RPGEmu, you have the ability to play windows [MV Game] on your iPhone or iPad.

add desktop mode (when the game could not run in RPGEmu, you could switch to desktop mode, then retry to play the game)
add low resolution mode (when the game could not run in RPGEmu, you could lower resolution, then retry to play the game)
in most cases, you do not need to switch to desktop mode or lower resolution, only when you find that you could not play the game, you can try to play the game with these actions
just import the game.zip twice, one set to desktop mode, another low resolution, if both of them could not run still, you could feel free to contact with us then

accelerated the game import process, especially when deals with game audio assets, new version uses AudioToolBox to optimize the file process, however, for large file such as 5GB, it will still need some minutes.
new version also fixed the game save logic error for some games.
Notice:
If the game could not be played in previous version, you could try to import the game.zip into RPGEmu again, the new version may be able to play it now.
And if you want to make sure your game.zip is played with latest version, you need to export the game save file, import the game.zip, then import the game save file.应用描述

1. when your mv game includes .webm codec is not [vp9, vp8, av1], the game import process will need more time to finish.
2. we find MZ Game may try to play video before user tap gesture, which is not allowed in modern web page, so we blocked the video to play before user tap the web page, you will see a black screen when you opened the game, follow the tip displayed, try to tap the black screen, you may need to tap the edge of the screen, after you tapped the black screen, the game should start to play, we have tested some games, try to tap the screen edge or center, all of them played ok.应用描述

Note: when you transfer the game file, do not leave the RPGEmu's screen, or else, the app will terminate the transfer process then crash.
add supports for RPG Maker MZ games [MZ Game]
add key map customization for virtual key "Up" and "Down", kindly note that not all games require all virtual keys, so, if you find that when you pressed the key, nothing happened, that's an expected behavior, that means the game does not need that virtual key.
we added this new feature, as some users say his game needs the virtual key "E", in the new version, now you could map the key "Up" to "E", so you get the key "E", of course, you lost of the key "Up", and we find the key "Up" is not that necessary , as it just does PageUp work.

use iOS 18 translation API, you now could play this app in your local language in most case.
Enhanced the game save logic, now it will be saved progress when the app goes into background or you explicit pressed "Exit The Game" button (of course, you must save the game into File firstly from the game part "save").
Notice:
this app is for RPG Maker MV games only, RPG Maker has many products, try other RPG Maker games which not MV will get no luck.

There're two ways to import games:
1. download games directly with Safari, select the zip file from Files App is ok
2. select your windows pc game folder with SMB file share
