We've added support for the new Hue Smart Button V2, so you can easily set it up either via our Wizards or manually to your own wishes - with all the fantastic options you have in iConnectHue!

- Updated light migration Wizard -
The answer is: One app! Our light migration wizard just got smarter, and now also migrates your Entertainment Zones. We've also given its option selection a full rework, so it's easier to understand and use.
In case you didn't know: This wizard replaces lights easily, with just a few taps - in case they are broken, or you just upgraded them.

We’re flipping the switch on some shiny new features! Whether you’re a seasoned Member or just browsing the glow-up, this update brings clarity, color, and a few surprises. Here’s what’s lighting up the latest version:
Updated switch editor
Our switch editor just got a glow-up! No more messy action selection - in the new wizard, everything is now sorted by type and action, which guides you sleek and easy through the process.
The updates in many details, like improved tutorials, around it make it a smoother, brighter experience for everyone - and for free!
New switch actions
We've taught your switches new tricks - and they're brilliant:
• Set color for single lights
• Adjust brightness for single lights
• Let single lights blink
• Adjust the color temperature relatively (Pro)
• Stop Hue Entertainment
• Group blink now works with most other group actions (Free!)
Everything is easily accessible through our new action editor, and we're thinking about adding setup wizards in the future, based on your feedback. Also available for coming/leaving actions.

Easter scenes
Our Egg-cellent "Easter Eggs" Magic Scene set is back again, until end of April. Hopefully not too late for your easter - we're sorry if, but we wanted to make sure everything is working perfectly for you!

It's going to get flashy with this update, be prepared for:
Global light fade time
You can now have a longer/shorter fade time in the app when toggling lights, selecting a color or (Magic) scene.
Go to Settings->Light fade time at the bottom and select whatever you want in a range between 0 and 10 seconds (use scrubbing for fine tuning the time).
These times also also automatically applied when adding new timers or adding new actions for devices (note that it won't change the time for existing device actions nor existing timers).
(Available for every Member)
Effect options
You can now edit the options of Hue light effects after selecting an effect in the effects menu of a light. Simply open the same menu again, then select "Effect options", and set speed and color to your likings.
In addition to this, effect colors and speeds are also supported via drag & drop by now.
Note: Availability depends on latest bridge firmware (1.67), and your lights support them.
(Available for every Member or w/ 2024 upgrade or when purchased in 2024)
Other detail improvements
• We've adjusted the UI and dialogues in some places for better usability
• Added support for new lights
• As always: Fixes and stability improvements

5.8.5: Solved a problem with Motion sensors and weekend mode (configure sensor new if you had a problem), added Workaround for iOS 18.2 ditching scenes and hence Widget showed "unknown scene" for some; Open the app at least once for it to resolve

Thanks for using iConnectHue! New in iConnectHue 5.8:
It's going to get flashy with this update, be prepared for:
Global light fade time
You can now have a longer/shorter fade time in the app when toggling lights, selecting a color or (Magic) scene.
Go to Settings->Light fade time at the bottom and select whatever you want in a range between 0 and 10 seconds (use scrubbing for fine tuning the time).
These times also also automatically applied when adding new timers or adding new actions for devices (note that it won't change the time for existing device actions nor existing timers).
(Available for every Member)
Effect options
You can now edit the options of Hue light effects after selecting an effect in the effects menu of a light. Simply open the same menu again, then select "Effect options", and set speed and color to your likings.
In addition to this, effect colors and speeds are also supported via drag & drop by now.
Note: Availability depends on latest bridge firmware (1.67), and your lights support them.
(Available for every Member or w/ 2024 upgrade or when purchased in 2024)
Other detail improvements
• We've adjusted the UI and dialogues in some places for better usability
• Added support for new lights
• As always: Fixes and stability improvements
