This APP lets you read South African license plates right on your iPhone or iPad!
You can keep track of plate you have seen in PlateList.csv file and receive an alert when the app spots a plate form the hotList.csv file. The app can record GPS location information for each plate. If you are reading moving license plates you can use ISO mode to have direct control over shutter speed to eliminate motion blur.
A zoom function has been included.

To enable use of GPS location you first have to enable it in setup in this APP then SCAN a plate then go into iPhone-settings and choose enable while using app in location services.

Parking List SA lets you automatically read number plates in the FE Schrift font and check the result against a list on the iPhone or iPad.
Numberplates are read using Imense ANPR technology on the iPhone or iPad.

The list of plates to check against is kept in a text file called

PlateList.csv

and this can be edited through iTunes File Sharing.
This application is ideal for checking who is in your car park or running event parking where there is a guest list.

The reader is built for South African license plates which use the FE-Schrift font.
