The QS Signature System in iCertifi provides a secure, efficient workflow for Qualifying Supervisors to review and approve electrical certificates remotely. Designed specifically for UK electrical contractors working under competent person schemes, this feature eliminates the need for paper-based sign-off processes.

How It Works
For Engineers in the Field
When an engineer completes a certificate, they can send it directly to their Qualifying Supervisor for review. The certificate data and a preview image are securely transmitted via iCloud, allowing the QS to review the work from anywhere.

For Qualifying Supervisors
QS devices receive incoming signature requests with full certificate details. The QS can review the certificate information, add their signature, and approve or reject the work - all from their iPhone or iPad. Approved certificates are automatically updated with the QS signature and name.

New: Combine Certificates from Backup

When restoring from iCloud, you now have two options:

Combine with Existing – Imports new certificates from the backup without affecting your current data. Duplicates are skipped automatically.

Full Restore – Replaces all certificates with the backup. Now includes a confirmation step to prevent accidental data loss.

Test Vision reads the result, identifies the test type, result, and populates your certificate fields automatically. No cable, no locked in to manufacturers software or instruments.
Batch Scanning Mode. For efficient testing workflows, the MFT Scanner supports batch operation. Take photos of multiple test results in sequence. Each scan adds to a queue visible in a table view. When you've captured all your readings, review the list. Tap individual items to populate specific circuit fields, or use the Add All function to import everything at once. This approach matches how electricians actually test. Complete all the measurements on a circuit, photograph each result, then import the batch. No context switching between testing and data entry.

Building on our successful single circuit extraction. BoardVision 2.0 is an AI-powered distribution board scanner built into iCertifi. It uses computer vision to analyse photographs of UK consumer units and automatically extract all the circuit data. Take a photo of the board, BoardVision identifies every MCB, RCBO, and RCD. It reads the ratings, determines the type curves, and transcribes the circuit labels. All of it flows directly into your certificate. The system handles UK-specific challenges like label strips with handwritten text, symbol icons for showers and cookers, faded markings on older boards, and the various layouts used by different manufacturer

Both Board Vision and Test Vision show a confirmation screen before populating your certificate. You see the detected test type or circuit, the extracted values, and which fields will be updated. If the display was partially obscured or the AI isn't certain about a value, you'll know to check before confirming at your multifunction tester display for high accurate and blazing fast electrical testing and inspection
