JawSpace® is a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) designed to support adults diagnosed with Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) also known as 'TMJ'.
It provides structured educational content, guided techniques, and self-management tools to help users understand their symptoms and build consistent daily self-care routines.
Developed in collaboration with clinicians and researchers from Newcastle University (UK), JawSpace offers a consistent, evidence-informed digital resource to support your self-management.
INTENDED PURPOSE
JawSpace is intended for adults aged 18+ who have been diagnosed with Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) or any common TMD subtype by a qualified healthcare professional.
The app supports self-management by providing:
• Educational resources on TMD and associated factors
• Guided self-management techniques, including stretching, mobility exercises, thermal therapy guidance, and relaxation tools
• A structured Discovery Questionnaire that groups user-entered information into commonly accepted TMD-related groups
• A personalised self-care plan generated from user-entered responses

• Trend summaries to support personal insight and a generalised report to give to your clinician

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store Account Settings. If you subscribe before the free trial ends, any remaining trial time is forfeited.
