Following up on last week’s release, this update adds a new cloud coverage layer to the weather map and improves tile rendering to get rid of that annoying flicker when zooming out.

Oh, and we added a super-neat travel feature. If the local temperature unit is different from yours, the hourly info bubble now shows both units.

2.11.3 also improves radar widget caching and includes a workaround for a crash on an upcoming OS version.

INTERACTIVE RADAR
Mercury Weather now has a full-blown interactive weather radar! See rain, snow, and more in real-time with a precipitation layer and multiple map styles to pick from. Your favourite locations are pinned right on the map, with annotations tinted to match current weather conditions. Planning a trip? Upcoming trips are marked on the map, too.

The new customizable radar widget (iOS 17+) brings the action to your Home Screen. See your current location or pick a favourite spot. Switch to Globe Mode to zoom all the way out and see Earth, complete with a day/night cycle and (of course) the radar overlay.

TWEAKS
We also tweaked the iPad layout, improved keyboard support, and sped up loading for your favorites.

This time we tweaked the icy theme to only show on truly chilly mornings. We also worked around a rare issue where the dismiss button wouldn’t always respond. And it's now easier to switch between humidity and dew point, and wind and gust.
