This update delivers a major user experience overhaul with a smoother ordering flow, smarter tax handling, favorites, and a refreshed look across the app.

New & Improved:

• iPad Side Cart – Keep your order visible while browsing the menu. Resize it by dragging the divider to fit your workflow.
• Redesigned Order Flow – A cleaner, faster order sheet makes reviewing and finalizing purchases easier than ever.
• Flexible Tax Configuration — set whether your prices are tax-inclusive or exclusive. Tax portions are now also included in receipts and invoices.
• Favorite Customers – Star your regulars so they always appear at the top of your customer lists.
• Improved Statistics – Cleaner charts, smoother date navigation, and a more polished presentation.
• Balance Email Updates – Send customers a balance summary directly from the app, complete with a shareable history link.
• Visual Refresh — Almost every screen in the app has been redesigned to look and feel more modern and polished, with a more cohesive feeling throughout.

As always, we’ve also made performance improvements and small refinements to keep everything running smoothly.

- Updated the screen for managing your subscription.
- Updated the screen seen when not subscribed, along with a refreshed paywall.
- Fixed a bug where your user information would not always be displayed.
- Fixed a bug where signing out sometimes required an app restart.

- Added a chat to directly contact the Bartab developer from inside the app.
- Added a roadmap for the future development of the app, where users can vote for their most wanted features and make requests of their own.
- Added functionality for proposing app translations and voting for existing proposals.
- Improved crash and error tracking, for quicker and easier resolving of bugs.
- Added app store review requests in certain places in the app. (If you haven't already, leave an honest review. It helps me a lot!)

New feature:
- Added stock tracking, with email and push notification alerts when stock levels reach a set threshold.
- Redesigned the menu item details screen and the screens for its various inputs.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug that intermittently logged users out.
- Fixed a bug that caused the menu to not properly adapt to sorting and column setting changes (iPad only).

- Enabled most of the features within the app to work completely offline. Changes made while offline will be propagated to the shared database once back online.

- Added all currencies (as defined by the ISO 4217 standard) to be selectable, with search functionality to ease selection.

- Added update notification and update history list.

- Made some updates the user details screen.

- Fixed a bug that caused some users to crash when asking to reset their password.

- Greatly improved the performance of the statistics views.

- Made changes to calls to backend to improve load times and overall responsiveness

- Added currencies: CAD, ZAR, JPY and ISK
- Improved sales tax input

You can now:

‣ Create an invoice or receipt for a customer.
‣ Email, print or share these invoices and receipts.
‣ Resolve the balance of a customer with one click.
‣ Enjoy improved sync between devices on the same account.

Fixed an issue where users with multiple devices would not have all devices up to date with the latest changes.
