In the previous version, however, we have:

• Resolved an issue affecting “PRO” users when trying to download a wallpaper for Tablet or Desktop
• Fixed search issues, which now works correctly
• Slightly improved the look of search results
• The “Share” button on each wallpaper now generates a special link: if you send it to people who have our app installed, the wallpaper will open directly in the app. For those who don’t have the app installed, it will open in the browser via our website (which will soon get an updated design that reflects the app).

We thank you for helping us climb the App Store charts. Wallpapers Central is now the #1 app in its category and #5 overall among all free apps in Italy. As a result, here’s the first update, which also brings a few small new features in addition to the usual bug fixes:

• The app icon has been recreated in Liquid Glass on iOS 26: now, whether you set icons to Tint or Glass, the rendering will be perfect.

• Fixed search issues: it now works correctly!

• In the account section, user emails shown after login will now display on a single line if they’re too long. This improves the overall look of the app.

• A new mission has been added that rewards users with 2 coins when they update their profile by setting a name and avatar. The name replaces the automatic email shown after login. Both the name and avatar are saved locally on the device and synced through iCloud; they are never shared with us or our servers (just like everything else in the app), ensuring maximum privacy. This simply makes the app feel more fun and “personal.”

• The Small Widget has been improved: it now displays only the latest published wallpaper, using the entire available space. It looks great on the Home Screen. The Medium and Large widgets remain unchanged.

• A new filtering system has been added for wallpapers: previously, user-uploaded wallpapers mistakenly appeared on the Home tab. Now, uploads can only be viewed and downloaded from the dedicated COMMUNITY section, as was intended from the beginning.

• ATTENTION • Stricter upload rules have been introduced: users have been uploading images of people, girlfriends, family members, extremely low-resolution images, screenshots, wallpapers already offered in our app, and various content taken from the web. Let it be clear: THESE WALLPAPERS WILL NEVER BE APPROVED. Likely, the intent is to farm coins, but wallpapers that don’t meet our minimum resolution and quality standards will never be approved, and consequently, no Coins will ever be awarded. It’s just a waste of time. Starting now, when a user uploads their third wallpaper that “violates our rules,” they will permanently lose the ability to upload more. Also keep in mind that many photos taken with smartphones—especially summer shots—may be nice as photos, but that doesn’t necessarily make them good or suitable wallpapers: the two things are very different.

- We’ve fixed an issue that was affecting a small group of users: specifically, for some people, even if they earned Coins for free in the app or purchased them, they weren’t being credited to their account. It’s now working correctly!

We’ve added a Dark Mode that takes full advantage of OLED displays, using true black (#000000) for energy savings. Push Notifications (now fully working!) keep you updated whenever we release new wallpapers, ringtones, or collections. You can even change the app icon, choosing from a wide range of beautiful alternatives.

Just like before, the app is free for everyone, supported by ads that can be removed with a Wallpapers Central PRO subscription. But we’ve also evolved our Coins system, making it more fun and game-like than ever.

All downloads on Wallpapers Central are FREE—this applies to both wallpapers and ringtones. Some items require Coins, but you can earn them for free simply by “playing” inside the app: watch a short ad, log in daily for bonus Coins, and unlock extra prizes at 7, 15, and 30 days. Right in the Collections, you will find 11 "Verified Creators," which are photographers, artists, or designers that Wallpapers Central has selected from around the world and who are now sharing their wallpapers exclusively with us. This means that our app is becoming richer in original contents (which you won't find anywhere else), and the quality of what we offer continues to increase! Get ready for in-app subscription discounts during the Black Friday Week!

We have improved the indexing of our wallpapers. Now each Wallpaper has an ID and it's possible to open the application directly in a specific wallpaper.
This means that when we send a push notification, it will directly open the app on the specific wallpaper, ready to be downloaded. If you use our HomeScreen Widget, tapping on a wallpaper will directly open it.

It's also possible to create links to share via social networks or directly in articles on websites using our new URL Scheme: wallcentral://ID
The wallpaper ID will redirect users to the linked download immediately.
