New characters:
- The owl can now spy on the village from the heights of the skies! As an experienced scout, each night she can spy on a player to get the information which players that player pointed at during the night - were they a werewolf choosing their victim from the menu, or the witch throwing their toxic potion? If the owl manages to draw the right conclusions, it will be a powerful ally for the village.
New Features:
- Card sets are here! In total, over 100 different suggestions for roughly balanced combinations for your werewolf rounds to choose from have been added (primarily for 8 to 20 players, about 12 per player count). Over 70 of these sets already have unique descriptions, bringing a bit of fresh air to the traditional 'werewolves vs. village' scenario, with more to come in future updates. With this feature, you can get started even faster: just enter the players, select the card set, get the physical cards ready (or just use the selection in the app) and go! The complexity level of a set will also show you whether it's more suitable for beginners or die-hard werewolf veterans.
- Interactions: As the number of cards increases, so do the possible interactions between them (you always wanted to know what happens when the fallen angel is in love or infected, right? What happens to the mistress if she visits the victim of the werewolves, but the latter is protected?). Therefore, we have specified many of those special interactions in the rules. Hopefully this clears everything up - if you notice any inconsistencies, feel free to let us know! We have adjusted many characters so that everything works as described in the interactions within the app.
- Huge card overview before a game: When you start a game, you will now first see a full-screen card overview that shows card names, images, short descriptions, interactions with other cards in the game, settings, and special images for each card, as well as a general overview. You can use this overview to show all players before the game which cards are in play, and to explain complicated cards. In addition, this overview is a good way to put your phone or tablet somewhere during an ongoing game, protecting it from prying eyes.
- Revised card selection: You can now mark certain cards as favorites in the rules and have only those favorites displayed in the card selection. In addition, cards that have already been selected (except for werewolves and villagers) will no longer be displayed for selection, so that you have a better overview. Of course, you can also deactivate these display options. In addition, you can now display the short descriptions of the cards by tapping on the info sign.
- Persistent saving: The current game is now saved even after the app is closed. This should make crashes less critical.
- Order detection: You may now specify that you are sitting in the same order as the players are aligned in this app. This will enable the app to automatically calculate options for the bear commander, the fox, the noble knight and the trapper.
- Many improvements, especially concerning the card interactions!
