Magic Lasso is now also available for your Apple TV! Magic Lasso Adblock v5.1 includes Apple TV Ad Blocking that block ads and trackers on your Apple TV devices, letting you watch your favourite tv shows without interruptions while protecting your privacy from ad tracking. Apple TV Ad Blocking builds upon everything you already love about Magic Lasso: system-wide App Ad Blocking across all your iPhone and iPad apps, plus best-in-class Safari and YouTube ad blocking.
Along with Apple TV Ad Blocking, Magic Lasso v5.0 delivered App Ad Blocking, so you can:
- Block ads in your favourite apps – Whether you’re scrolling through social media, playing games, or reading the news, ads are blocked automatically — creating a cleaner, faster experience across your device.
- Block ads in any browser – Magic Lasso still blocks ads natively in Safari. But now it also blocks them in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and other browsers too — so you’re protected no matter what browser you use.
- Stop hidden in-app trackers – Many apps secretly track your activity and sell your data to third parties. App Ad Blocking helps shut down these trackers before they load, giving you stronger privacy everywhere.
- Speed up your internet – App Ad Blocking routes your traffic through a fast, private DNS, improving speed and reducing data leaks to your ISP.
To block ads and trackers across all apps on your device, open the app, go to Rules > App Ad Blocking and tap “Enable…”. Then when prompted, tap “Enable App Ad Blocking” and tap “Allow” to give permission for network content filtering.
That’s it! Ad and tracker blocking will now be active system-wide via the Magic Lasso Adblock VPN. If you ever want to turn off App Ad Blocking, just go back to Rules > App Ad Blocking in the app.
Other recent changes include:
- v5.0.4 – Resolved an issue where App Ad Blocking may automatically be disabled by the operating system. App Ad Blocking will now automatically start itself if disabled after app updates and device restarts. To ensure this fix works, after updating the app to v5.0.4, go to Rules > App Ad Blocking and toggle the feature on and off once to apply the new auto-restarting VPN configuration.
- v5.0.3 – We introduced full support for iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, including an updated Liquid Glass app icon.
- v5.0.2 – Custom Rules can now also be created for App Ad Blocking. To create a new Custom Rule, go to Rules > Custom > + and select "All Apps" to either Allow or Block specific URLs in apps. You can also see what has recently been blocked or allowed – to modify the App Ad Blocking behaviour – by tapping "Show Recents..." within the "On" field.

Magic Lasso Adblock v5.0 now lets you block ads and trackers across all apps on your iPhone and iPad — not just in Safari. The new App Ad Blocking feature builds upon our powerful Safari and YouTube ad blocking, extending protection to News apps, Social media, Games and other browsers like Chrome and Firefox.
With the new App Ad Blocking feature, you can:
- Block ads in your favourite apps – Whether you’re scrolling through social media, playing games, or reading the news, ads are blocked automatically — creating a cleaner, faster experience across your device.
- Block ads in any browser – Magic Lasso still blocks ads natively in Safari. But now it also blocks them in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and other browsers too — so you’re protected no matter what browser you use.
- Stop hidden in-app trackers – Many apps secretly track your activity and sell your data to third parties. App Ad Blocking helps shut down these trackers before they load, giving you stronger privacy everywhere.
- Speed up your internet – App Ad Blocking routes your traffic through a fast, private DNS, improving speed and reducing data leaks to your ISP.
To block ads and trackers across all apps on your device, open the app, go to Rules > App Ad Blocking and tap “Enable…”. Then when prompted, tap “Enable App Ad Blocking” and tap “Allow” to give permission for network content filtering.
That’s it! Ad and tracker blocking will now be active system-wide via the Magic Lasso Adblock VPN. If you ever want to turn off App Ad Blocking, just go back to Rules > App Ad Blocking in the app.应用描述
