Camping.Info 2018 for Europe: The popular Camping.Info app, now with a modern twist! We’re pleased to introduce the latest version of the Camping.Info app, now with a new, user-friendly design that is both modern and easy to navigate. All of the other key features from our website will be integrated into the app as soon as possible.
You’ll find the best campsites in Europe with Camping.Info! Our camping app includes more than 22,900 campsites in 44 countries, and with the advanced search function, you can find sites on the map or according to a variety of characteristics.
Camping.Info is the most popular online travel guide for campers in the German-speaking world. With our website, printed travel guides and apps we help campers find everything they need to plan their perfect camping holidays.
In addition to providing users with the details of thousands of campsites across Europe, the Camping.Info community encourages lively discussion and exchange among campers and outdoor fans. More than 50,000 campers rate campsites on a regular basis, and our website’s database currently has more than 145,000 guest reviews. We will be integrating these guest reviews into the Camping.Info app in one of the next updates. The 5,960 motorhome stopovers listed on the Stellplatz.Info website will also be added to the app in one of the upcoming updates.
FIND THE PERFECT CAMPSITE
With more than 22,900 European campsites in the Camping.Info database, you can find the place that's perfect for you and contact the site directly. Plus, there are more than 38,000 photos and hundreds of 360° pictures to help you decide. To find your perfect campsite, just set the desired search filters and you’ll receive a selection of sites that fit your preferences. The number of expected results will be displayed beforehand. With all this at your fingertips, you’re sure to find a site you’ll love!
NEW DESIGN AND EASY TO USE
The Camping.Info app has a new look for 2018! This is the most user-friendly version yet —The modern design and clear structure make your search for the perfect campsite easier than ever. Planning your holidays has never been more fun!
GET INSPIRED
Want to try out new campsites? Then get inspired by Camping.Info! Using the map, you can see all the sites in and around your holiday destination and test out your favourites. Once you’ve visited, don’t forget to rate the campsite and share your experience with the Camping.Info community.
COLLECT AND SHARE YOUR FAVOURITES
Just like on the Camping.Info website, you can save your favourite campsites on the app and call them up at any time. Tap the heart icon to add the site to your list of favourites. If you want to recommend a campsite to your friends or if you want to suggest one for an upcoming trip, you can easily share a site listing with them.
EXPLORE YOUR SURROUNDINGS
There's more than just a ton of campsites on the Camping.Info app: You'll also find thousands of hiking and cycling paths, sightseeing attractions, museums, theatres, festivals, concerts and much more! You can quickly and easily find leisure activities and events on the app’s map. - We completely reworked and tidied up the POI map — It's more clearly structured now.
- The POI detail pages also have a new design: In addition to all the important information, you'll also find linked buttons so you can get in direct contact or get exact directions, for example.
- Thanks to our new map provider, HERE Maps, we've got even more highlights up our sleeve: Not only can we now display POIs on a daily basis and show you (live!) whether they're currently open or not, you can also see their distance from the campsite. Brilliant, right?
- And to make sure you can do your research more quickly, we've optimised the POI loading time. You're welcome!

- Hey, everything is so shiny and new! We've tidied up the app for the start of the new year, and the map is now the new home screen. Now you can search for campsites right when you open the app, so you'll find your perfect site faster than ever.
- It gets even better: On the lower part of the map, you'll now find popular regions, complete with campsites. Let our suggestions inspire you!
- Unfortunately, many users reported a loss of saved favourites after the last update (shame on us!). We've fixed this error, so as long as you haven't uninstalled the app, you should be able to see all your favourites again.
- We'll soon be switching map providers, so several sightseeing attractions will be removed with this update. Don't worry, though: This new provider has plenty of POIs for your camping holiday.
