Updated Offline Maps
• Offline maps have been updated and are now available in feet.
• Maps are divided into different coverage areas.
• Three map versions available: Standard, Grayscale, and Dark.
Restructured Map Settings Menu
• The map settings menu now has three tabs: Weather Layers, Map Layers, and Map Type.
• Point of Interest (POI) has been moved under Map Layers.
New Weather Layers
• Several new weather layers have been added, including:
• Icing Index
• Freezing Level
• Radar
• Lightning
• Wind and Temperature
Sensor History
• It is now possible to view sensor history in table format and as graphs.
Improved Object Selection in Overlapping Areas
• If multiple objects are present in the same area, a list will appear, allowing users to select the desired object for more information.
Updated Obstacle Layers
• Obstacle layers for Norway are based on:
• National Register of Aviation Obstacles (NRL)
• Common Map Database (FKB) Power Line Data
• These will be updated at least every AIRAC cycle (28 days), with more frequent updates planned in the future.
• Obstacle data for Sweden and Denmark will also be updated regularly.
Warning for Maps Using Meters
• If a map with elevation data in meters is selected, a warning will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
Presets for Quick Layer Activation
• New functionality to quickly enable groups of layers.
• When a preset is activated, only the configured layers will be displayed, and all other weather/map layers will be hidden.
Additional Quick Selections
• New quick selections have been added, including:
• Helipads
• Webcams
• Landing Sites
• Weather Stations
• Airports
Icing Report
• A new function for reporting icing.
• Primarily used for research programs in Stiftelsen Norsk Luftambulanse.
NOTAM and NLA VFR Routes
• Added functionality to display NOTAMs on the map, including detailed information.
